The program is designed to enable graduates to achieve all initial eligibility criteria to become certified as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC).

The program is structured to permit students to pursue their master's degree while balancing the rigors of work and home. Classes meet each Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and students have the opportunity to complete two classes each quarter. Classes, each five weeks in length, are taken one at a time.

Students who enroll in the program are taught using two primary modes of instruction.
