Intended to prepare students for a career in the human services or for graduate study in one of the psychological disciplines, the bachelor's program emphasizes critical thinking, methods of inquiry, research methodology and psychological processes.

The Master of Arts in Psychology offers an advanced education for students seeking a career as a professional psychologist. The marriage and family therapy program emphasizes practice in one of the human service professions. The counseling program emphasizes practice in psychologically oriented counseling at the pre-doctoral level.

Students in the master's program will receive academic preparation for licensure in Washington and for national board certification.
