For over thirty years, Western International University has specialized in educating working adults. While our course schedules are non‐traditional, we employ a traditional educational model and teaching style in both our on‐campus and online degree programs. We understand that classes must not only fit your schedule — with all of its obligations and commitments — but compete fiercely for your time and attention. To do that, we've created the most engaging, interactive and accommodating experience possible.

To help you stay on track through your degree program and move into the world beyond, we provide a suite of student services and career coaching resources. From the start, you'll be assigned enrollment, finance, and academic counselors. Utilize our Career Coaching Resources to develop persuasive interviewing skills and build a more compelling resume.

West class schedules are designed to dovetail with your busy schedule. Study on campus, online live with West Interactive Online courses, or both. Classes meet once a week for 2 months and new sessions start every month. You can attend your live online class or watch your recorded class during the week.

Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science (Online)

Does human behavior fascinate you? Would you like to know how biology contributes to behavior, or how to resolve interpersonal issues? In this program, you'll gain a deeper understanding of complex issues in sociology, psychology, counseling, and management, ranging from cross-cultural and ethical issues to conflict resolution. The knowledge and insight you'll gain are valued by many industries, including human and social services, health care, education, and business.

The Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science program offers students a basic foundation in the diverse fields of psychology, social psychology, and human development and behavior. The program is experience-based and emphasizes the reciprocity of knowledge and direct application. Because of the breadth of its offerings, this major can be directly applied in multiple areas of business and corporate operations. It also has direct and immediate application in human services positions and operations, or can provide a solid base for advanced study in various behavioral science disciplines. Participation in this program will also enhance personal development through the acquisition of new knowledge and insight into group interactions and communication.

Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Behavior (Online)

Does law enforcement, criminal justice, or social work interest you as a career choice? This program combines courses in criminal justice and behavioral science to prepare you for success in a variety of professional settings in the areas of crime prevention, the administration of justice, or rehabilitation. You'll learn about public policy and the causes, enforcement, and prevention of crime in today's society.

The Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Behavior is designed to prepare students for success in a variety of professional settings ranging from law enforcement to social work. The program combines courses that focus on criminology, criminal investigation, juvenile justice, and addictions. By combining courses in criminal justice with courses in behavioral science, graduates will be prepared to focus on crime prevention techniques as well as the administration of justice and rehabilitation.

Master of Arts in Human Dynamics (Online)

Are you interested in understanding the underlying human behaviors that create and determine an organization's success? Would you like to inspire and lead change through a better comprehension of your company culture and the people who contribute to that culture? Have you wondered how the cultural diversity in work environments across the globe influences organizations? Would you like to explore successful strategies to learn how to negotiate and resolve internal and external conflicts? This program will give you insight into human behavior in a variety of organizations, help you understand how to promote positive change management and broaden your views and the views of others, and help you create the organizational culture, style, and structure that will lead to a positive and productive workplace.

The Master of Arts in Human Dynamics is designed to prepare students of all professional and educational backgrounds to understand, function within, and effect change in organizations of many types. Students will receive a foundation in sociology, human resources, and psychology topics which will prepare them to critically analyze the structure and behavior of organized groups and identify changes that would enhance effectiveness on a macro level. Instruction in the major will focus on organizational structure, relationship dynamics, organizational psychology, strategy, and social psychology. Participation in this program will also enhance an understanding of diversity at both national and international levels. This program is designed to provide the graduate with skills and knowledge that can be applied in a variety of human services, business, and industrial settings. Graduates will be better prepared to function successfully within organizations and propose structural and personnel changes that will enhance the effectiveness of a variety of organization types.
