The Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology program continues the professional development for students currently working--or desiring to work--in a counseling role. Students are introduced to basic counseling skills that integrate individual and group theoretical foundations of professional counseling into appropriate client interaction and intervention skills. The University also offers a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology - Marriage & Family Therapy program for students who wish to gain licensure as a marriage and family therapist in the state of California.
The Master of Arts (MA) in Forensic Psychology is designed to educate and train individuals who are currently working, or wish to be trained to work, in fields that utilize the study and practice of forensic psychology. The curriculum provides for an understanding of theory, training, and practice of forensic psychology. It emphasizes the development of students who are committed to the ethical provision of quality services to diverse clients and organizations.
